Haven PCB badges

ABSTRACT

Name badges for Haven Tashkent, made as PCBs: lime-green HACKER for participants and brown ORGANIZER for the team. They're die-cut to the shape of the art, 55.9 × 59.1 mm, with a gold (ENIG) finish and a full-colour print on the front. PCBWay is sponsoring the manufacturing.

3How it's made

One Python generator draws every layer from a single file of numbers: the board outline, the copper and mask art that gets imported into KiCad, the colour-print files PCBWay needs, and these mock-ups. If the outline changes by a millimetre, I change one number and regenerate everything instead of redrawing it.
